Free Hosting Services Upgrades from FastVirtual
August 12, 2004 - San Diego, CA
Web hosting service provider, FastVirtual, Inc., today announced free upgrades for all their web hosting packages. Upgrades include increased server space, additional email accounts, and PHP support as standard for their popular Full Domain plan.
According to FastVirtual, web site owners are becoming more familiar with advanced content, such as streaming media, Macromedia Flash, databases, etc. Software is now available that makes it easy for non-programmers to include such content on their sites, and these technologies have far greater resource requirements over static HTML content. The upgrade was completed to ensure FastVirtual continues to meet the expanding needs of their customers.
"FastVirtual has always been committed to providing generous resources as standard with all our hosting plans", said David Andrews, International Development Director of FastVirtual. "When FastVirtual was founded six years ago, the amount of disk space and bandwidth we provided was far higher than most web hosting providers. There have since been two upgrades, including the unrestricted bandwidth policy we introduced in 2001. With recent increases in the usage of advanced content, particularly streaming media, this was simply a proactive step to ensure we continue to meet the future needs of our customers. Additional resources are, of course, still available for customers with extreme bandwidth or server space requirements."
Founded in 1998, FastVirtual, Inc. is a leading international web hosting service provider, whose quality and range of services has enabled both businesses and individuals to establish and maintain a top-tier web presence. With high performance ratings, multiple fully-featured plans and a competitive pricing structure, FastVirtual has become one of the most popular web hosting service providers in just six years.
