Miva Script is supported with all FastVirtual web hosting plans.

Miva Script is a server-side scripting language, which is easy to learn, standards-compliant, and makes it easy for those new to scripting to develop interactive web content.

Easy Server-Side Scripting

Miva Script should be considered by those interested in creating dynamic web content, but who are not familiar with Perl, or other CGI scripting languages.

Miva also includes an indexed database system, which is easy to learn and is compatible with several popular database formats.

Version Information

• FastVirtual uses the "CGI redirect" version of Miva.
• Miva data files are stored in the "mvdata" directory, which is one level above your document root ("htdocs").
• The installed Miva engine is version 3.9700.
• Miva Virtual Machine is version 4.0901.
